As partner and President of Jackson Healthcare Staffing, Paul was an innovator in marketing and technology and through which, he built one of the largest and fastest growing nurse staffing companies in the industry. He designed and developed the companies enterprise system as well as designed and implemented staffing solution software that was used by hospitals throughout the country to manage their entire supplemental staffing use. He was also responsible for the development of a labor active division used to handle hospital operations during labor disputes.
Paul recently served by the Governor's appointment on the State of Mississippi Medical Care Advisory Committee. Paul is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a BS in Biology / Pre-Med and Pearl River College where he received his RN degree. He also spent two years at Sierra College in CA where he was recruited to play football.

In the more than 30 years David has owned businesses, his companies have never had a quarterly loss, and all investments have had profitable exits. And while the businesses have been varied and faced differing challenges, they all had one enduring common denominator that led to their success- good people. This has been the theme in the past and will continue to drive future success.
David is Trustee Emeritus, La Lumiere High School, LaPorte Indiana, and a current Board member of the Walloon Lake Country Club and Cincinnati Athletic Club.
David received a B.A. from Colgate University.
Dan Frederick, MD, Onyx President
Dr. Frederick was born in New Orleans, LA. He completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Texas in Austin with a focus on pre-med studies. He then went on to receive his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas in 1999.

He completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Florida Shands Hospital. After practicing anesthesiology for two years, Dr. Frederick decided to pursue further medical training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he completed a pain management fellowship in 2006. After practicing pain management for 4 years, Dr. Frederick started his own pain practice in 2010 which has expanded to include 14 clinics from Waco to San Antonio.
While working with his medical practice, Dr. Frederick served as Practice Manager, Medical Director, Chief Compliance Officer, Clinical Advisory Board Member and Head of Physician Recruiting. Dr. Frederick further served as the medical director of Midtown Surgery Center from 2015-2017 as well as medical director of Austin Preferred Rehab from 2015-2018. In 2017, Dr. Frederick’s medical practice was acquired by Common View Capital and renamed Pain Specialists of America.
More recently Dr. Frederick founded Onyx Health Care Staffing, based out of Austin, with the mission to help alleviate the worsening crisis of national health care staffing shortages. To that end, Onyx is a rapid response nursing and allied staffing agency providing a platform to connect providers to healthcare entities in need.
Dr. Frederick remains active in the medical community through his memberships in the International Spine Intervention Society, the Texas Pain Society, the Texas Medical Association and the Travis County Medical Society. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing tennis, hunting and fishing.
